In autumn 2015 the youth symphony Amikejo, led by conductor Mark prills (B), a transnational youth project performing with the Eupener Knabenchor, conducted by Dieter Gillesen (D).
Due to the unique geographical location of Limburg (NL), it is able to differentiate itself through a cross-border thinking. This so-called. Amikejo crossing borders concept carries through in all its projects. The aim is to bring the cross-border character and the talent within both organizations under the spotlight. Both organizations have a clear unique concept and work with students in the same age category.
Besides joint rehearsals concerts will be given in the St. Nikolaus Kirche in Eupen and St. John's Church in Maastricht. In 2014 Amikejo gave a concert during the opening of Magical Maastricht that was dominated by Advent and with this concert we want to continue this and start a tradition.
During this concert Finalists of the Princess Christina Concours South in 2015, Hannah Forg (D) and Jana Schell (D), will act as a soloist on violin
